The Rome-based dance company, Koreoproject, directed by Giorgia Maddamma, presents a conference and performance of Anna Sokolow repertory, directed by Jim May, at MACRO Museum Rome.

10/1-12: Betty Jones & Fritz Ludin Humphrey/Limón workshop
October 1-12, 2018 at Ballet Hispanico, NYC. Mon-Fri, 10:45-12:45 pm. Internationally renowned master teachers Betty Jones and Fritz Ludin return to teach at Ballet Hispanico in New York City. The current of life energy that runs through the body and gives dance its ultimate beauty and vitality will be an important topic of the workshop.
November 1, 2018: Dancing Beyond Grief
The Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble will participate in Reimagine End of Life week by presenting Dancing Beyond Grief, at the United Synagogue of Hoboken. Works by Isadora Duncan, Anna Sokolow, Martha Graham, Rae Ballard, and Michael Foley, followed by discussion with the artists.
November 3-4, 2018: Awakening Rhythms
Join long-time Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble member Francesca Todesco for an evening of live music and dance as she celebrates her 20-year journey in New York City. Guest performers will include members of the Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble, Dances by Isadora, and Thoughts in Motion, with pianist Nathaniel LaNasa.
October 14, 2018: At DUMBO Dance Festival
The Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble will perform excerpts from Anna Sokolow’s “Moods” in the 18th Annual DUMBO Dance Festival. Sunday, Oct. 14 at 4pm at the Gelsey Kirkland ArtsCenter, Brooklyn.
9/14 & 15: Philadelphia Fringe Festival
The Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble will present “Moods,” “As I Remember,” and “The Unanswered Question” in MOVING, a collaboration with Dancefusion in the Philadelphia FringeArts Festival. September 14 & 15, 2018.
8/27-9/1: Sokolow Workshop with Jim May in NYC
August 27-September 1, 2018 at Peridance Capezio Center in New York City: this this one week workshop is a unique opportunity to challenge creativity, go beyond academia, and explore one’s voice in the artistic community.
Philadelphia 6/30: Dancefusion Anna Sokolow Showcase
Dancefusion presents Master Teacher Jim May with the Dancefusion company in “Anna Sokolow Showcase.”
