Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble is delighted to be able to perform Claudia Gitelman’s Schubert Impromptu with live music on this program presented by Dances We Dance, Francesca Todesco, artistic director.

Harmonic Dissonance brings together modern dance and live piano, performed by pianist Nathaniel LaNasa, in a program inspired by the revolutionary spirit of Isadora Duncan and the emotional intensity of composer Alexander Scriabin. With guest artists Rae Ballard, Clarence Brooks, and ST/DE, Dances We Dance has created an evening that explores grief and resilience, conflict and unity, and the ways music and movement can reveal our shared humanity.
