“Odes” remains a luminous work deserving a place of honor….“Odes” re-creates a world haunted by nature’s mysteries. In this open landscape, the gods might reach out any time to snatch their prey.
Robert Johnson, The Star-Ledger
When the company performed Anna Sokolow’s Odes at the Cunningham Studio in November 2011, it was recorded with the studio’s three high-definition cameras—beyond the capabilities of our editing technology. Happily, that has changed. We are pleased to be able now to share this beautifully recorded version of Odes.
