Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble will participate in Reimagine End of Life week by presenting Dancing Beyond Grief, hosted by the United Synagogue of Hoboken. We will present works by Anna Sokolow, Isadora Duncan, Martha Graham, Rae Ballard, and Michael Foley, followed by discussion with the artists.
Reimagine End of Life is a community-wide exploration of death and celebration of life through creativity and conversation. Drawing on the arts, spirituality, healthcare, and design, they create weeklong series of events that break down taboos and bring diverse communities together in wonder, preparation, and remembrance. This year, Reimagine is sponsoring 322 events throughout the 5 boroughs of New York and Hoboken, NJ, exploring death and celebrating life…from all perspectives.
