Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble will perform Schubert Impromptu by Claudia Gitelman and in Air for the G String by Doris Humphrey on the program Harmonic Dissonance, presented by Dances We Dance.

Under the artistic direction of Francesca Todesco, Harmonic Dissonance brings together timeless masterworks with bold new creations, celebrating the dialogue between past and present. On the program:

• Doris Humphrey’s Air for the G String, re-staged by Gail Corbin (with ST/DE Associate Director Lauren Naslund Nov 22 & 23).
• Isadora Duncan’s choreography to Schubert’s Symphony No. 9
• Francesca Todesco re-imagines Duncan’s powerful Scriabin Études through new solos, duets, and ensemble works.
• Claudia Gitelman’s Schubert Impromptu, performed by ST/DE
• A new trio by Dances We Dance company member Rosy Gentle
