Movement in relationship to “Migration”

Dealing with space, causes and reasons to Migrate, political and social impact on the world, using paintings by Jacob Lawrence, today’s headlines, and rhythm. This 9 week/16 classes course will culminate in a showing and is limited to 10 dancers committed to a class that includes a technical warm up that leads to creative expression.
Where:
KEYSTONE Studio – 252 West 30th Street (#4B)
between 7-8 Ave (south side)- New York, NY
When:
Wednesdays and Fridays 10:00-12:00 pm
First class September 30, runs thru November 25 (no class October 30)
Limited enrollment, need 10 dancers committed to 9 weeks. The end goal is to create a new work, it’s ok to miss a few classes but drop-ins are not recommended.
We will have a showing of this piece on Thursday December 10th.
