Support the Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble

Celebrate Anna Sokolow, the international pioneer of modern dance, on the Centennial of her birth and help us to preserve her legacy for future generations. During this momentous year, you will experience old favorites and newly-discovered masterpieces. As you know, Anna’s works reveal both the lyric and stark aspects of the human experience, messages as relevant today as they were when this iconic choreographer first staged them.

We are appealing for your financial support for the Spring Season as well as our entire year of performances around the world, master classes, exhibitions, lectures, and more. A centennial display of Anna’s life will soon be opening at the The Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center and a Gala event for Anna is scheduled for the fall. Your donation will help to underwrite production costs, support dancers, and cover the increasing costs of rehearsal space.

Please consider a gift of $100 or more in honor of Anna’s 100th year. All contributions received by April 16th will be acknowledged in the Spring program.

• Donate $100 by April 16th and receive: one ticket to the Spring Gala on April 22nd and a DVD of Magritte Magritte.
• Donate $250 or more before April 16th and receive: two tickets to the Spring Gala, the DVD, and a new Centennial t-shirt.
• Any donation after April 16th is greatly welcomed and will help the company move forward with their celebration year.
